You’ll Gain Skills & Expertise Beyond What Typical Programs Offer
The right training will help you become a dental assistant and our school will help you achieve the perfect balance of hands-on experience along with classroom learning. Many years were spent on our Curriculum for Dental Assisting to get it to the advanced level that it is today. Being a registered school, our students can earn a certificate of completion to show any potential employer.
We have students from all over Tennessee. One such student, Lauri Whitney, said about the curriculum: “Taking my dental class through your school was a great experience for me. It provided me a program that gave me accurate and up to date information regarding dental assisting and various dental procedures. I felt that the training and lab time prepared me for working as a dental assistant in the real world. Your staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in becoming a successful dental assistant.” Graduates are finding good jobs that are leading to successful careers.
One of the benefits of our school is that students learn in a classroom setting in addition to getting more than 50-hours of hands-on training in a local dental office. Many of the students at the Dental Assistant School of Memphis are young and just getting started with a career in the health-care industry. Others are re-entering the workplace later in life or wish for a career change and are finding great opportunities. Classes begin several times per year, so students can enroll anytime with a new session starting soon. Students must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent to qualify to enroll. Upon completion graduates receive a Certificate in Dental Assisting.
In today’s economy, people of all ages are looking for new career options. Programs like this Dental Assistant School are an excellent opportunity. Other programs offer mostly lecture-based training with limited hands-on time, which leaves graduates unprepared for the job market. But with our accelerated program you’ll get hands-on training in absolutely all aspects of Dental Assisting. This kind of experience will put you ahead of your peers.
In other programs, instructors are limited in the amount of attention they can give to a class of 30 or more students. However, our program gives personal attention since classes are limited in size. This means you’ll graduate with the confidence, the skills and the “know-how” to excel in your new career.
